Hi! I’m a software engineer living in sunny Seattle, WA. I like to write about software and my experience in the tech industry, with a particular emphasis on “things nobody told me”. Sometimes I comment on current events.

I’ve worked at seed-stage startups and FAANGs, as a manager and an engineer, from new grad to staff. I’m married with two awesome kids whose privacy is important to me. I have ADHD.
